. This name, oft. appearing in old rec. Rick or Ricks, is
still found in New Hapsh.

    ROACH, THOMAS, New London 1651, m. 12 Dec 1661, Rebecca, d.
of William Redfield, wh. d. 16 Aug. 1670; but he was liv. to testify in
1708, as Miss Caulkins tells in her Hist. WILLIAM, Lynn, m. Hannah,
d. of Nicholas Potter, had William, b. 12 Aug. 1692; Hannah, 12 Oct.
1694; Elizabeth 16 Apr. 1697; and Mary, 26 Oct. 1699.

    ROANES or ROBERT, WILLIAM, perhaps of York a. 1672, m. Wilmott,
wid. of Edward Start, d. leav. two ch. and John Parker senr. was made
admor. in 1678.

    ROATH, ROBERT, Norwich, m. Oct. 1668, Sarah Saxton, eldest d. of
Richard of Windsor, had John b. Nov. 1669; Sarah, Aug. 1672, wh. d.
12 Mar. 1695. Mary, Nov. 1674; Eliz. Mar. 1677, d. next yr. Hannah,

Hinman, ut sup. says. he d. young, perhaps confus. the brs. or rem. and
