again, 28 May 1680; rem. to Shirborn, had Daniel; and Eleazer, 22
Jan. 1687; and d. 27 Aug. 1724. ZECHARY, Yarmouth, s. of the
first Samuel, had gr. of ld. for the first male ch. b. in the town, by
w. Mary had Zechariah and John, was k. by casual shot at a train.

RIDGDALE or RIGDALE, JOHN, Plymouth, one of the passeng. in the
Mayflower 1620, with w. Alice, and both d. bef. Apr. 1621.

RIDGEWAY or RIDGAWAY, JOHN, Malden, had w. Mary, wh. d. 24

RIDLAND, JOHN, Charlestown, of wh. no more is kn. by me but that
his name is in the list of household. 1678.
RIDLEY, RICHARD, came in the Planter, a serv. of Martin Saunders,
from London 1635, aged 16, but no more is kn. of him.
RIFF, RICHARD, Salem, seems a strange name, but is in the list of
freem. 1678.
RIGBY, EDWARD, Lancaster 1654. JOHN, Dorchester 1637, freem.
18 May 1642, d. in Apr. 1647; was perhaps f. of the Samuel, bapt. there
21 Mar. 1641, and of Abigail, wh. m. 19 Feb. 1664, Thomas Holman.
SAMUEL, Dorchester 1662, perhaps s. of the preced. shoemaker, by
first w. had Elizabeth wh. m. 23 Jan. 1678, Watching Atherton; and Mehitable;
and by sec. w. had John and Silence
RIGGS, ANDREW, Gloucester, youngest s. of the first Thomas, m. 24 Jan.
1704, Mary Richardson, had s. William, Joseph, and George, besides six ds.
not nam. in Babson's Hist. wh. tells that he was liv. so late as 1771.
EDWARD, Roxbury 1633, brot. w. Elizabeth and ch. Lydia, wh. d. Aug.
1633, being the earliest on the rec., Elizabeth wh. d. in May next; and John
d. Oct. foll. and his w. d. next yr. in Oct. He m. 5 Apr. 1636, Elizabeth
Rooke, by wh. he had not any ch. nam. on rec. of b. and therefore it
may be conclud. that he had brot. one other s. and two ds. wh. liv. to m.
but all d. bef. him. The w. d. 1666, and he was bur. 5 Mar. 1672, in
his will of 2 Sept. 1670, naming s. Edward as dec. leav. wid. and childr.
beside Joseph, Hannah, and other childr. of his d. Mary Twitchell, and
gr.ch. Elizabeth Allen. He was freem. 14 May 1634. EDWARD, Milford
1640, s. prob. of the preced. b. in Eng. had perhaps John and Samuel,
and was one of the early sett. at Paugusset, after nam. Derby, but d.
bef. his f. JOHN, Milford, s. of the preced. d. 1670. JOHN, Gloucester,
s. of the first Thomas, m. 1 Jan. 1690, Ruth Wheeler, had s. John, Jeremiah,
and Jonathan, beside one that d. inf. and seven ds.; and d. 12 Jan. 1748.
SAMUEL, Milford 1671, then propound. for freem. may have been
br. of the first John, m. 1667, Sarah, d. of Richard Baldwin of the
same, and rem. to Derby. STEPHEN, Marblehead 1674. * THOMAS,
Gloucester, was town clk. 51 yrs. selectman 20, sometime sch.m. rep.
