1676, may be the passeng. of 1635, aged 29, in the James from London
to Boston. SAMUEL, Rehoboth, m. 12 Jan. 1681, Elizabeth Kingsley, perhaps
d. of John of Milton, had John, b. 25 Mar. 1682, who. was bur. 15
July 1683; Samuel and John, tw. 4 Jan. 1684, of wh. John was bur.
next day. THOMAS, of Rowley 1648, and SAMUEL, in 1691, perhaps
were s. of John. STEPHEN, Cambridge, perhaps s. of William, m. Elizabeth
d. of Daniel Cheever. SAMUEL, Rowley, m. 25 Dec. 1671, Mary, d.
of John Pearson, freem. 1684, was of Salem, prob. two or three yrs.
later, where one of the name acted for John Dunton in sale of his

Dec. 1679, d. at 3 yrs.; Benjamin, 1682; and Stephen, 1687. The
time of his d. is unkn. TIMOTHY, Suffield, had, bef. going thither, w.
Elizabeth and s. Timothy, and b. there Esther, 1676; beside two wh. d.
young; and Thomas, 1682. He d. 1697, leav. Timothy, Esther, and
Thomas. * WALTER, Charlestown 1629, prob. younger br. of Abraham,
charg. in Sept. 1630, with k. Austin Bratcher, freem. 18 May 1631, was
constable 1633, on 1 June of wh. yr. he, with new w. Rebecca, and d.
Grace, unit. with the ch. so that it is plain that the d. was by a former
w.; had Hannah, bapt. 15 June 1634; Elihu, 24 Jan. 1636; Nehemiah,
b. 23 Nov. 1637; Moses, 6 Apr. 1640; Benjamin, 30 May, bapt. 5 June
1642; all by Rebecca Short, a mem. of Roxbury ch. who came in 1632,
as a serv. says the rec. of R. ch. rem. to Rehoboth, was rep. 1646 and 7,
being the first from that town, had more ch. and rem. again, to Stonington,
1653. His will, of 19 May 1658, made at S. pro. 11 May 1662,
cont, in Suffk. reg. (for S. then call. Southerton, was claim. as pt. of our
Co. strange as such civil geography now seems), names w. Rebecca and
eleven ch. John; Grace; Jonas; William; Gershom; Elihu; Nehemiah;
Moses; Benjamin; Hannah, w. of Thomas Huet; and Elizabeth and
omits to name d. Rebecca, wh. m. 20 Apr. 1665, Elisha Cheesbrough;
and was, perhaps, unable to count the gr.ch. WILLIAM, Plymouth,
came in the Fortune 1621, with s. William, and his w. Frances, came
in the next ship, the Ann, 1623, had sh. in the div. of cattle 1627, rem.
