Elizabeth b. 9 Feb. 1673; Luke, 15 July 1675; James, 1 Oct. 1677; Mary,
29 June 1680; and Rebecca, 4 Jan. 1683; but when or whence he
came is unkn. His d. was 20 Jan. 1704, and the wid. Hannah m. deac.
Medad Pomeroy. THOMAS, Westfield, prob. s. of the preced. m. 19
Dec. 1695, Elizabeth d. of the sec. Thomas Dewey, had Thomas, b. 10
Sept. 1696: Job, 28 Jan. 1699, d. at 5 mos.; Jonathan, 1 May 1700,
d. at 19 yrs.; Seth, 30 Oct. 1702, d. in few wks. Israel, 20 Sept. 1703,
Elizabeth 3 Sept. 1705; Lois, 4 July 1708; Ebenezer, 11 Oct. 1711;
Thankful, 31 May 1714; Ann, 30 Oct. 1716; and Jonathan, 23 May
1721; was deac. and d. 29 July 1730; and his wid. d. 2 Oct. 1757.
WILLIAM, Flushing, L. I. was, in 1664, employ. by the Conn. Col.
Six of this name had been gr. at Yale, and nine at the other N. E. coll.
in 1834, says Farmer's MS. wh. is the more observ. bec. none was of
Harv. or Dart.

    NOCK, HENRY, Dover, youngest s. of Thomas of the same, m. 10
Jan. 1692, Sarah, d. of Charles Adams. SYLVANUS, br. of the preced.
m. 20 Apr. 1677 Elizabeth Emery, had Elizabeth b. 12 Feb. 1678; Sarah, 4
May 1680; and others. THOMAS, Dover 1655, by w. Rebecca, prob.
d. of Henry Tibbets, had Elizabeth b. 21 Nov. 1663, d. at 5 yrs.; Henry,
posthum. 8 Feb. 1667; beside others earlier, as Sylvanus, and Rebecca,
and d. 29 Oct. 1666. His wid. m. 28 Sept. 1669, Philip Benmore,
outliv. him, and d. 30 Mar. 1680. It is said this name has bec. Knox
in some branches.

    NODDLE, WILLIAM, Salem, came prob. in the fleet with Winthrop freem.
18 May 1631, was drown. in June 1632. Winthrop I. 80. Prince, II. 29,
thinks Noddle's isl. was nam. for him.

    NORCROSS, JEREMIAH, Watertown 1642, perhaps the freem. 1653,
whose bapt. name is not giv. on the rec. d. in Eng. 1657; in his will,
made 15 Sept. 1654, pro. 6 Oct. 1657, beside s. Nathaniel, and Richard,
he names d. Sarah, w. of Francis Macy, tho. Bond, 376, reads the name
Merry or Massey, s. Richard, d. Mary, and John Smith, s. of his w.
Adrean, and speaks of gr.childr. in Eng. JEREMIAH, a soldier in
Philip's war, under capt. Turner, 1676, was s. of Richard, and gr.s. of
the preced.; d. says Bond, 30 Nov. 1717. JOHN, Cambridge 1642,
Bond thinks was br. of the preced. and refer. to in his will; but no
