Spooner, wh. was his serv. in 1642, was by the Ct. order. to have
charge of the childr. of Combs, and in 1666, the s. Francis got gr. of ld.
in his f.'s right. JOHN, Boston, cooper, m. 24 Feb. 1662, Elizabeth wid. of
Thomas Barlow, had Elizabeth b. 30 Nov. 1662; John, 20 July 1664, prob.
the freem. 1690; and Mary, 28 Nov. 1666; and he d. May 1668. He
spent much of Barlow's est. and the Ct. order. provis. for B.'s only ch.
and his wid. wh. m. John Warren as his sec. w. and d. early in 1672.
JOHN, Northampton, had there twelve ch. rem. to Springfield, and had
one more, b. 1714. MICHAEL, Salem, by w. Joan had Michael, b. 22
Mar. 1669; and Joshua, 23 Feb. 1671. Sometimes this name has e final,
instead of s; and other var.

    COMBY or COMBEE, ROBERT, Boston 1681.

    COMEE or COMY, DAVID, Woburn, had Mary, b. 30 Jan. 1663;
rem. to Concord 1664, d. 31 Mar. 1676. His d. Mary m. 24 May 1688,
Joshua Kibby. This may be the same name as the next.

    COMER, ISAAC, Weymouth 1662. JOHN, Weymouth, perhaps the
same as the preced. by w. Sarah had Sarah, b. 10 July 1662. JOHN,
Newport, a Bapt. preacher 1656. JOHN, Boston, was b. 26 Apr. 1644,
as he said, but his f. is not kn. by w. Elinor had John, b. 12 Aug. 1674;
William, 28 Nov. 1678; Thomas, 6 Sept. 1680; and Mary, 16 Dec. 1685.
MATTHEW, Newport, freem. 1655. RICHARD, perhaps of Ipswich
1651, m. a d. of Humphrey Gilbert.

    COMPTON, JOHN, Roxbury, freem. 3 Sept. 1634, had w. Susanna, in
R. ch. rec. spell. Cumpton, as also in list of freem.; rem. to Boston, was
disarm. with the majority in 1637. Winthrop I. 248. Snow's, Hist. 108.
His d. Abigail m. 30 Jan. 1652, Joseph Brisco, but the f. was prob. d.
tho. his wid. liv. to Nov. 1664. WILLIAM, Ipswich, bot. ld. in 1662 of
Daniel Ladd.

    COMSTOCK, CHRISTOPHER, Fairfield 1661, m. 6 Oct. 1663, Hannah,
d. of Richard Platt of Milford, had Daniel, b. 21 July 1664; Hannah,
15 July 1666; Abigail, 27 Jan. 1669, d. at 20 yrs.; Mary, 19 Feb.
1671; Elizabeth 7 Oct. 1674; Mercy, 12 Nov. 1676; and Samuel, 6 Feb.
1680; had good est. kept a tavern, and d. 28 Dec. 1702. DANIEL,
New London 1652, s. of William, was, perhaps, six yrs. bef. at Providence,
m. a d. of John Elderkin, d. 1683, aged a. 53, leav. wid. Pelatiah;
ch. Daniel, and eight ds. all bapt. as Caulkins says, in Apr. and Nov.
1671; Kingsland, b. 1673; and Samuel, 1677. His d. Bethia m.
Daniel Stebbings. DANIEL, Norwalk, s. of Christopher, m. 13 June
1692, Elizabeth d. of John Wheeler of Fairfield. JOHN, Weymouth 1639,
indent. serv. of Henry Russell, sat down at Saybrook, E. part, now
Lyme, had Abigail, b. 12 Apr. 1662; Elizabeth 9 June 1665; William, 9
Jan. 1669; Christian, 11 Dec. 1671; Hannah, 22 Feb. 1673; John, 30
