Transcription of "humble petition of Esther Comy of Concord", mentioned above, also shows "foure of them [the six children] bee by a former wife", "non[e] of them being com[e] to Age or able to choose their own Gardens" [i.e., under 14], "ye boy ... and .. ye Girls", "on[e] of y'm [i.e., them] not being Above sixe weeks old when my husband was slaine".
