Watertown, freem. 9 Mar. 1637, serv. in the Pequot war, was rep.
1663-75, had Sarah, bur. 10 Oct. 1639; Sarah, again, wh. m. 24 June
1660, Isaac Stearns, and next, 23 July 1677, Thomas Wheeler; Mary,
b. 10 Mar. 1643, wh. m. Joseph Rice of Sudbury, as Bond thinks;
Eliezur, wh. was made admin. joint. with his mo. of the will of f. Judith,
b. 26 Mar. 1646, wh. m. an Allen; Elnathan, bef. ment.; Jabez, 4 Aug.
1661; Elizabeth wh. m. 25 May 1710, Samuel Ward, as his sec. w. Richard,
22 Oct. 1659; and Abigail, Apr. 1662, d. very soon. He was capt. and
k. in Philip's war at Squakeag, now Northfield, 4 Sept. 1675, prob. hav.
time only to make nuncup. will, after being wound. ROBERT, Rehoboth,
m. 25 June 1673, Elizabeth Bullock, perhaps d. of Richard, had Benjamin, b.
6 June foll. and was k. by the Ind. 29 Mar. 1676. See Bliss in his

    BELCHER, ║ ANDREW, Sudbury 1639, ar. co. 1642, m. 1 Oct. 1639,
Eliz. d. of Nicholas Danforth of Cambridge, and B. rem. thither, was a
taverner, had Eliz. b. 17 Aug. 1640; Jemima, 5 Apr. 1642; Martha,
26 July 1644; Andrew, 1 Jan. 1647; and Ann, 1 Jan. 1649; and he d. 26
June 1680, his w. surv. Eliz. m. 31 Mar. 1668, Pyam Blowers; Jemima m. 5
Dec. 1660, Capt. Joseph Sill; and Martha m. 13 July 1664, Jonathan Remington,
and d. 16 July 1711. But the m. of Samuel Ballard, 1 May 1678,
with Hannah Belcher, as his sec. w. is found on rec. and who she was,
