ten years later became the town of Framingham, Mass. He resided in Framingham, probably on some of the lands of his father, who survived him nearly ten years. He died before 17 Nov. 1723, when his widow Abial was admitted to the Framingham Church. He left no will, and no administration was taken out on his estate; but his four children were given fifty acres of land by the will of their grandfather Nathaniel3 Stone in 1732; so to secure their rights in this legacy, three of these sons, Jonathan Stone in his eighteenth year, Reuben Stone in his sixteenth year, and Simeon Stone in his fifteenth year, on 12 Mar. 1733/4, all chose Micah Stone of Framingham, husbandman, for their guardian; and the youngest son, Levi Stone, on 1 Jan. 1738/9, aged about sixteen years, chose Daniel Stone of Framingham, miller, for his guardian. (Middlesex County Probate Records, Nos. 21653 and 21652.) The births of his children are not recorded, but they were all baptized together, after the decease of their father. He married at Framingham, 11 Oct. 1716, ABIAL BIGELOW, born 20 Jan. 1693/4, daughter of Daniel and Abial (Pratt) Bigelow of Framingham; she married secondly, at Framingham, 15 June 1743, SAMUEL WALKER of Natick.
