Nettleton is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) northwest of Chippenham. The parish includes the hamlets of Horsedown and Nettleton Shrub. The northern section of Nettleton village is known as Nettleton Green.

Until 1934, Nettleton absorbed the neighbouring parish of West Kington including the village of Burton and the hamlet of West Kington Wick.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Nettleton from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"NETTLETON, a village and a parish in Chippenham [registration] district, Wilts. The village stands ½ a mile southeast of the boundary with Gloucestershire, 1¼ W NW of Akeman-street, and 7½ NW by W of Chippenham [railway] station. The parish comprises 1,959 acres. Post town: Chippenham. Real property: £3,373. Population: 632. Houses: 126. The property is divided among a few. The manor belongs to T. Penrice, Esq. There is a large barrow, with three stones of a cromlech. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol. Value: £408. Patron: Domville, Esq. The church is ancient but good, and has a tower. There are chapels for Baptists and Wesleyans.
