Cheraws Circuit Court District was one of seven Circuit Court Districts created. Cheraws Circuit Court District was created in 1769. Cheraws Circuit Court District was based in Long Bluff, South Carolina.

Cheraws District was created out of Craven County.

In 1785 Chesterfield County, Darlington County, and Marlboro County were created in this location. In 1800 Chesterfield County became Chesterfield Circuit Court District. Darlington County became Darlington Circuit Court District. Marlboro County became Marlboro Circuit Court district.

In 1868 they went back to counties of Chesterfield, Darlington and Marlboro.
