Not sure why it was added to this page. It belongs on the page of "Geney Gunn", though it being only an index entry to the real record, it has been abstracted to the point we can't tell who the parent is or what gender it is, so it tells us nothing even if there was a page for her. I have a problem with the removal of the record of baptism for Geney Gunn. We know my ancestor Captain John Gunn had slaves, and we know their names through baptismal records. One of those slaves (all delicately referred to as "negro servants" in the Westfield Vital records) is Geney. The record I just discovered and placed into the notes of John Gunn's WeRelate page clearly lists her as Geney Gunn and as the daughter of ... Gunn. There is admittedly some lack of certainty. The record clearly says that someone named Gunn is her father. The logical conclusion is that the person is John Gunn. It would be more kindly to think it's an error, that he was merely the sponsor at her baptism, and not her father. Or perhaps the person referred to is a different Gunn; his first name after all is not given in the record. Finally, all I have seen is a transcript of the record, not the original, so this source is secondary. But we use secondary sources with frequency in WeRelate. So, I don't understand the reason for the removal of this information. Whatever its implications, the record exists, and it relates in some important and interesting way to the life of Captain John Gunn.

I am hopeful that someone who has access to the original records (Westfield Genealogical Records Series, Baptisms, 1679-1836, Vol 2, Part 1) will check and confirm the pertinent information on the baptism of "negro servants" of Captain John Gunn. The record on Geney is found here: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FC56-V4Q--Gunnj 13:31, 14 October 2015 (UTC)

I have a problem with the throw all sources at it and see if things stick. It clutters up the page and makes it hard to read, and for those that want to collaborate, hard to work with because it puts more sources there that respectful collaborators should check out before making changes, and frustrating and wasteful of time when they are off topic.
If you are interested in, want to research Geney/Ginnee, create a page for her. Put the records there. Add a link on Capt. Gunn's page. Same for Rose and Cloe and Sebaia[?], etc. In view of his age, and the fact that he had male and female slaves, I wouldn't assume too much based on this record. --Jrich 15:00, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
