A transcript , by the "Immigrants Ships Transcribers Guild" lists Samuel and daughter Zipporaph as steerage passengers on the ship "Christiana" from England to Port of New York, arriving 1 July, 1858. Samuel is listed as age 58 years, 11 months and Zipporah as age 12 years, 9 months. She died Nov. 4, 1859, so she only lived about 16 months in America.
