ZEBULON DICKINSON (Joseph, John) b. TOyster Bay about 1680; d Cedar Swamp about 1751; m. 1st, 1701, Mary Frost, b. 71685; d. 1720; dau. of William and Rebecca (Wright) Frost of Matlnecock, L. I. The knowledge of this m. is based on an ancient record recently discovered showing the dates as above, and supplemented by the appearance of a tombstone In the Frost Burial place with name Mary Dickson thereon. No known issu M. 2d, Rose Townaend. dau. of John and Rebecca (Almy) Townsend of Oyster Bay. Issue (by 2d marriage) : I Townsend, b. ; m. Ann Underbill. II Henry, b. ; m. 1752, Ruth Townsend. M. 3d, 7.12.1747. Mary Doughty, b. 1705; dau. Charles and Elizabeth (Jackson) Doughty. No issue. Zebulon seems to have occupied alternately, property at Cedar Swamp and Oyster Bay. His will dated 1751, recorded N. Y. Surr. Office Liber IS, p. 52 mentions wife Mary, children Townsend and Henry. Executors, bro's-ln-law. Samuel and Benjamin Doughty and Penn Townsend. He and 3d wife were Friends.
