Disambiguation

NOT to be confused with Zachariah Wilson (b. 1765) who was born in Virginia, lived in Charlotte County, Virginia and married Catherine Picket. Some researchers have confused and/or combined the two Zachariah's with over-lapping marriages and children. The 1820 U.S. Census clearly proves that there were at least THREE DIFFERENT Zachariah Wilsons, one in Charlotte County, Virginia, one in Guernsey County, Ohio and another Zachariah Wilson in Shenandoah County, Virginia.

3I don't believe this could possibly be George Rogers Clark, (1) because GRC was at least a Colonel if not a Brigadier General by January 1782 and (2) the signature on the discharge bears no resemblance to the known signature of George Rogers Clark
