- ↑ "Wymond L. C. Ritter, Jr., 55, died Thursday at his home in PleasantLake, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Saturday in Weicht funeral homewith Duane Lantz, Chaplain, Indiana Volunteer Fireman's Association,officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Darrell Cook, pastor of thePleasant Lake and Mount Zion United Methodist Churches. Intermentfollowed in the Mount Zion Cemetery near Golden Lake. Ritter was born March 27, 1916, in Angola, to Wymond L. C. Ritter,senior, and Clara (Talbott) Ritter. He was employed as a mechanic forL. & M. Motors in Angola until illness forced his retirement. Ritterwas an active member of the Pleasant Lake Volunteer Fireman. Survivors include his wife, Virginia, two sons, Wymond Lee, of Salem,Indiana, and J.W. Ritter, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret AnnKlock, of Grand Blanc, Michigan; his mother, Mrs. Wymond Ritter, Sr., ofAngola; two brothers, Jack Ritter, of Goshen, and Don Ritter, ofCalifornia; a sister, Miss Patricia Ritter, of Angola, and fivegrandchildren."
