  9. "Jack T. Ritter, June 12, 1919-May 19, 1989
    Jack T. Ritter, 69, Goshen, died Friday evening, May 19, in the GoshenGeneral Hospital emergency room after an illness of several weeks. Hewas born to Wymond and Clara Talbott Ritter in Angola on June 12, 1919,and lived here until 1941. Mr. Ritter retired from NIPSCO after 25years service. He also drove a Goshen city bus for 17 years beginningin 1941. Surviving are his wife, Leota Rohn Ritter whom he marriedAugust 15, 1943, in Angola; three sons, Douglas Ritter of upperSandusky, Ohio, John Ritter of Indianapolis, and Mike Ritter of Fremont;one brother, Don Ritter of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and one sister,Patricia Ritter of Angola. He was preceded in death by one brother,Wymond Ritter in 1971. Funeral services were Monday, May 22, atYodor-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with Rev. Louis H. Showers of FirstBaptist Church of Goshen officiating. Burial followed in Oak Ridgecemetery, Goshen. Memorials are to Goshen high schools athleticdepartment."
