    Mrs. T.A. Wren, resident of Greenville for many years, died Wednesday at 9 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.S. Holland, 2825 Livingston, Fort Worth, where she had made her home for the past year.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kavanaugh Methodist Church. The Rev. Gordon Casad, pastor, will be assisted by the Rev. Bill Morgan Smith of Dallas, former pastor of Kavanaugh Church.

    Interment will be in East Mount Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.

    Gray Sorrells and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends of the family may call at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Wren, the former Wilma Jane McMillan, was born April 9, 1878 in Redbanks, Miss. Her parents were Wm. P. and Sara Ann Gardner McMillan. She came to Texas when a child and had lived in and near Greenville since that time. In 1901 she was married to T.A. Wren and he preceded her in death Feb. 11, 1944.

    Mrs. Wren had been a member of Kavanaugh Methodist Church for many years and was active in the church programs as long as her health permitted. Other activities included membership in the Gleaners Bible Club. She was interested in community affairs, particularly in being a "good neighbor", her friends said.

    Surviving are two sons, W.A. Wren, Greenville, and David Wren, Galveston; two daughters, Mrs. W.B. Smith, Galena Park and Mrs. S.E. Holland, Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Jones, Saritoga, Calif., and Mrs. M.E. Henderson, Fort Worth; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
