OBITUARY Wm Swander was born in Stark Co, Ohio, Sept 28, 1831. Died June 10, 1897 age 66 years 8 month and 12 days. He was first married to Harriet Treesh which union was soon severed by her death. He was again married to Miss Florida Groh in 1862. To this union were born six children, all having preceded him to the spirit world with the exception of one son. Mr Swander was a member of the Lutheran church from his childhood. He was a faithful christian until his death and an officer in the church for a number of years. He died in a few hours after he complained of not feeling well. He leaves a sorrowing widow, one son, a brother, a sister and a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his departure The funeral services were conducted Sunday June 13, by Rev. Burkett, in the presence of an immense congregation.

He died suddenly under a cloud of suspicion and perplexing uncertainty as to the cause of his death. The matter was cleared by the confession of one in whose veins there was no Swander blood
