 In the 1860 census for Noblesville, Hamilton Co., Indiana, William Stoops is 60 farmer from Kentucky; with (Zarah?) 58; Amanda 24 Indiana; (Menerva?) 22 IN; Martha 17 IN; John 11 IN; and Jennie Froud 8 (KY? NY?). {p. 254}They are next to his sister Rebecca Betts and family, and on the same page as children Jackson Stoops 37 and Elizabeth Hamble 28.
