 In the 1850 census for Noblesville, Hamilton Co., Indiana, Moses Burk is 60, farmer from KY; with Elsa 52 KY, William 26 KY, John 20 IN, Philip 1832; and [grandchildren?] Amanda (Fosse?) 9 and John Fosse? 6 -- both born IN.  Next door is his brother William 46 KY and his family: wife Susanna 40, Samuel J. 18, Margret I. 14; Delilah  A. 12, Sarah C. 8; and Ellen M. 1.  Their brother George is in Tall Creek township.
 In the 1860 census for Taylor Co., Iowa, Moses Burk, 70 Kentucky, is living with son Philip.  His sons John, William F., and Moses are also in Ross, as well as his daughter Rebecca Hare, with their families.
