William H. Seaver of Providence, Rhode Island served in the Union Army in the Civil War. He enlisted as a Private on 21 August 1861 in Company E, 3rd Heavy Artillery Regiment of Rhode Island. He was absent sick on 11 March 1862 at Hilton Head SC.
