The William Rogers who married Sarah Lowe, married her on the 12 Jan 1791 in Lincoln Co., KY. daughter of William Lowe and Elizabeth Davenport. If you check the birth years for the children of William Rogers in this profile you'll find they were born before the other William Rogers married Sarah Lowe. See:

and search for 'Lowe'.

Hampshire Co. VA. court and land indenture records clearly place the William Rogers in this profile to have been residing in Hampshire Co. VA. in the 1790's:

3 March 1791 Nathaniel Parker of Hampshire County sold 29 acres of land on the waters of Patterson's Creek to David Jones [Hampshire Co., VA DB 8:212]. The land adjoined William Rogers and was part of the tract granted to Mathew Rogers in 1749. John Reed, John Jones Jr. and Abraham Johnson were witnesses to the deed

The 1828 Francis and Pamelia (Parker) Duffy family bible with links in Sources states:

Susana Rogers wife of Thomas Parker was born 11th April 1773; she was the daughter of William Rogers and Sarah his wife. Susana was born in Hampshire County, Virginia.

Susan Parker wife of Thomas Parker departed this life on Wednesday half past 4 o'clock PM 24th Oct 1838, in the 66th year of her age, a perfect model of industry.

Thomas Parker is one of the three eldest sons of Nathaniel Parker of Hampshire, Virginia and later Sumner, Tennessee who married 3 sisters, the misses Rogers. John m. __(Mary?)__; Richard m. Nancy Rogers; Thomas m. Susie Rogers as stated in a 1904 letter as found on page 482 of Parker in America (see sources).

The story of the 3 Parker sons marrying 3 Misses Rogers sisters is repeated in Jay Guy Cisco's 1909 book 'Historic Sumner County, Tennessee.' (see Sources)

The 1885 Ophelia Parker family bible (see Sources) gives the birth and death dates for Nancy Rogers, wife of Richard Parker. (see Sources).

William Rogers, the father of the 3 Roger sisters who married 3 Parker brothers is referenced in an 1818 Nelson, Kentucky court deposition wherein his brother James Rogers age 75 stated that 'William Rogers, who died 7 or 8 years ago was his eldest brother, and that another brother, Jonathan Rogers died in Virginia in 1782. The same court deposition has a confirming statement from Agnes Bailey where she identifies herself as a sister of these 3 brothers, James Rogers, William Rogers, and Jonathan Rogers. (see Sources)

The 1804 and 1805 Nelson County, KY indentures show William Rogers Senr was of Hampshire, Virginia at that time.
