Person:William Renwick (5)

His age was given as 21, the same as his sister Janet when they arrived in New York in 1835. She was born Dec 23, 1813 and other sources give his birth date as Dec 24th, but in 1816. Therefore, he may have been a twin of Janet, born within a day of her.

However, if he was born prior to 1815, then the second William Renwick (b. 1815) is probably not a second child, but an alternate birth date for this individual. Prior to finding the Passenger List giving his age as 21, I have assumed the 1815 William died and the next child was given the same name. That does not hold up based upon his age on the passenger list.
