Personal History

William Pelham of Lincolnshire, “militis fil.” (Esq.), matriculated from Magdalen College, Oxford, on 16 October 1607, then aged 16 (born about 1591).[3]

On 20 November 1609, William Pelham, son of Sir William Pelham of Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.[4]

William was knighted by King James I on 20 November 1616 at Newmarket, Suffolk.[2]
