Personal History

Charles Pelham, (Esq.,) son of Sir William Pelham, knight,[4] by Frances (——), was baptized on 13 October 1625 in the parish of Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, England.[4]

Charles, son of Sir William Pelham of Brocklesby, matriculated as fellow-commoner (the first of three ranks) from Magdalene College, Cambridge, in the Michaelmas term of 1640.[2]

On 16 March 1640/1, Charles Pelham, son of Sir William Pelham of Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, was admitted to Gray's Inn.[3]

On 1 April 1665, a licence was issued for Charles Pelham (widowed and aged about 30) of Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, and Elizabeth Pelham (spinster) of Covent Garden, Middlesex, to be married at St Paul's, Covent Garden. They were married on 6 April 1665 in the parish of St Dionis, Backchurch, City of London.

Death and Probate

Charles Pelham, Esq., was buried on 17 February 1691[/2] in the parish of Brocklesby.[1]
