William H. Pattison, aged 80 of 131 Keister Road, Slippery Rock, died at the residence today at 4:30 AM following an extended illness. Born in Ohio, August 10, 1866, he was a son of Alex and Martha Chesney Pattison. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Slippery Rock Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Kittie Mortland Pattison, 3 daughters, Mrs. Garnet Snyder of Whittier, CA, Mrs. Twyla Lawrence of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Gertrude Patterson of Newtown Square, PA; one sister Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Whittier, CA; one brother David Pattison, Slippery Rock; 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be held at the Ligo Funeral Home, Slippery Rock, on Sunday at 2 PM with Rev George McGhee in charge. Internment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery. The family will meet friends in the Ligo Funeral Home Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
