Research Notes

  • Original note on page: "18th Texas Cavalry Company K. Muster roll - Sgt. in the 18th Texas Cavalry Muster Roll. From Texan in the Civil War."
    • cos1776 follow up note: There appear to be 2 William Owens in the TX 18th, but one is Sgt. William B Owen and the other is Private William E Owen. It doesn't seem like either are a match. More research needed to support this theory.
  • NOT listed among Confederate dead at Elmira Prison Camp [2]
