    Deceased Name: W. Penrose Myers
    W. Penrose Myers, age 96, of York Springs, died Thursday afternoon, at his home.

    He was born Friday, January 5, 1906, in Monaghan Township, York County, PA, the son of the late William H. and Ellen B. Mann Myers.

    He was a retired Packer from the New Cumberland Army Depot. He was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Dillsburg and a life member of the Carlisle Moose Club.

    He was the widower of Mary E. McCurdy Myers. He is survived by his son, John W. Myers of Grantville; his daughter, Martena K. Baker of Fishersville, VA; along with 2 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild and 2 step- great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, W. Penrose Myers, Jr.

    Services will be held on Monday, 11 a.m. November 25, 2002, at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut Street, Dillsburg, with the Reverend David L. Smith. Burial will be in Filey's Cemetery, Dillsburg, PA. A viewing will be held Monday, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home.
