YORK SPRINGS Mary E. Myers, 78, of 527 Hilltop Road died Saturday in the Michael Manor Nursing Center, Gettysburg.
She was retired from the former Pomeroy's department stores and was a member of Filey's Christ Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, W. Penrose Myers; two sons, W. Penrose Jr. of York Springs and John W. of Grantville; a daughter, Martena K. Baker of Manassas, Va.; a brother, Daniel McCurdy of Mechanicsburg; five sisters, Ethel Rupp and Velma Mumper, both of Mechanicsburg, Kathryn Simons of New Bloomfield, Helen Daniels of Shiremanstown and Shirley Vogelsong of Carlisle; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Wednesday in Cocklin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Filey's Cemetery, Monaghan Twp.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
