    In about 1900 William moved from Allegheny City, Pennsylvania with his parents and siblings to Ilo Idaho (now Craigmont). In 1910 he, his parents and siblings homsteaded near Carter Montana, thirty miles north of Great Falls Montana. During hard times he also worked for the railroad. On Nov. 1, 1920 he married Mabelle "Mabel" Tanberg in Great Falls Montana. [Kirk Mayer]
