Kuck, applied for immigration 1834 for Amerika; his parents immigrated in 1840 - without consent " o consens". ("Bietrage Familienschung Auswanderengen") According to New Bremen Church Records, he sponsored his nephew, Herman Heinrich Wilhelm Settlage, chr. 01 Dec 1844, at St. Paul's U.C.C. in New Bremen. Will Recorded Auglaize Co., Ohio, on 23 Aug 1879, Will Book 3, pg. 158 Heirs all spelled Cook, listed as: Elizabeth Cook, Widow; Adolph Cook, William Cook, Theodore Cook, Henry Cook, August Cook, Fredericka Cook, Elizabeth Cook, Maria Cook, Sophia Cook, Louisa Cook; then Edward Cook and Charles Cook, children of Ernest Cook, Deceased. Will In the name of the Almighty God, Amen. I, William Kuck of the Township of Washington, County of Auglaize, State of Ohio: being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament. 1st - I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife, Elizabeth, all my personal property and real estate, situated in Washington Twp., after all debts have been paid, to be hers forever provided she remains unmarried, should she remarry, she is to have the third part of all my real and personal property to be hers for life. At her decease the remainder thereof I give and devise to my children and their heirs, respectively; to be divided in equal shares between them. 2nd - I do nominate and appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth to be the sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal and publish this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of the witnesses named below, this 9th day of February in the year A.D. 1877.
