Altho mistranscribed as Jesten, several librarians, my sister and myself read it as Jester. Lucy (sister Lucinda) and James Wood are living a few houses up. Son Levi m. a Martha are enumerated just before William and Sarah.
William Jester states according to 1850 Cherokee Co AL and 1860 Harralson Co GA Census that he was born in SC.

Research Notes and Corrections
Contrary to the numerous trees at Ancestry that have his death as 14 MAY 1864 and buried in Troup County, GA. A thorough examination of census and military records proves this is not the same William.
