Altho mistranscribed as Jesten, William's Lucy (sister Lucinda) and James Wood are living a few houses up. Son Levi m. a Martha are enumerated just before William and Sarah. And it was read as Jester by several others.

William Jester states according to 1850 Cherokee Co AL and 1860 Harralson Co GA Census that he was born in SC.

"United States Census, 1850," Cherokee County, Alabama^[5] Son Ben F. is missing from the line up, I believe he has apprenticed himself and is not too far way.
