Obit published in the Calhoun Chronicle September, 1951:

William H. Jackson, 84, former Calhoun County clerk and magistrate, died Monday, September 3, at his home at Big Springs. He was the son of the late Edward and Susan Johnson Jackson and was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge. He served an unexpired term as county clerk. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruie B. Bell Jackson; and the following children by his first wife, Susie A. Bland, who preceded him in death: Homer Jackson of Big Springs, Henry Jackson of Hinton, W. Tell Jackson of Akron, Leo D. Jackson of Oak Hill, Carl Jackson of Akron, Mrs. Clara Dibble of Cincinnati, Mrs. Perry Farmer of Clarington, Ohio, and Mrs. Carl Richards and Mrs. Earl Bush, both of Big Springs. Funeral services were conducted Thursday from the Pleasant Hill church with burial following in the Nobe cemetery. The Rev. H. L. Underwood and the Rev. Ralph McCoy officiated at the services.
