Mildred L. Bush, 75, of Clay Route, Spencer, died Monday in Roane General Hospital, Spencer, following a long illness.

She was born in Big Springs, Calhoun County, a daughter of the late William H. and Susie Bland Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, William Earl Bush; one son, Robert E. Bush of Spencer; five daughters, Madelyn Schultz of Santa Clara, Calif., Joan Hathhorn of Beggs, Okla., Betty Durst of Ripley, Winona Czaja of Romulus, Mich., and Carolyn Kelly of Wayne, Mich; one sister, Perrie Farmer of Blanchester, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters and one grandchild.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. H. G. Wayne officiating. Burial will be in the Nobe Cemetery, near Grantsville.
