William Ingram, born ESTIMATED 1764; died REPORTED BEFore 1808; buried PRESUMED LaRue-Ingram Cemetery (Newbern), Pulaski County, Virginia. He married 18 February 1799 at Montgomery County, Virginia to Mary Currin (Virginia Marriages to 1800 via Ancestry.com 08 OCT 1999, may be bond date). She buried PRESUMED LaRue-Ingram Cemetery (Newbern),Pulaski County, Virginia.

Family legend that this William died in 1807 on a trek with Daniel Boone. However, it appears this William died in Virginia. An alternate theory is that the possible Ingram that died on a trek with Daniel Boone was Jonas Ingram, son of Jonathan. This could make some sense in that Daniel Boone eventually retired to St. Charles County, Missouri which is one county south of Pike County, separated by Lincoln County. I have suspected that Daniel Boone may have had something to do with migrations from Kentucky to Lincoln and Pike Counties. One website says born 1764 in Radford, Montgomery Co., VA; died 1808 in Newberg (Newbern?), Virginia - all doubtful.
