Facts and Events
Notes
Aaron Ingram also remained in the Newbern vicinity, and in 1835 sold the land where he then resided to his son Samuel Ingram, Jr. The land adjoined the Glendys, James Wall and Henry Hance. Samuel Ingram and his wife Margaret sold 280 acres of this land to James and Simeon Bryson in the 1840's (Montgomery County Deed Book L, p. 420; Pulaski County Deed Book 2, p. 34).
In 1839 the estate of Aaron Ingram was appraised and a sale made. In settling up the estate, numerous deeds were made as the result of a lawsuit in which Reazin Ver- million was plaintiff and Aaron Ingram and Samuel Early were defendants. From these transfers made during the 1840's the following have been designated as heirs of Aaron Ingram: Jemima wife of James Fergus of Rives County, Missouri, Juliet wife of William.
