William Lee (Billy) is buried next to his father William Jefford Holley Section 4 lot 211 Base 5 Obituary article states as follows: A 22 year old Elkhart youth was pronounced dead on arrival at 11:23 p.m. Friday (Michigan time) at Pawating Hospital, Niles, following a one car accident south of Edwardsburg in the Garver Lake area. Dead is William Lee Holley, who resided with his mother at 919 McPherson Street, a passenger in a car being driven by Scott Brown, 20, of 401 Timberhurst, Elkhart, who failed to negotiate a curve traveling east on Main street. The 1969 Chevrolet struck two guard poles and was flipped over. Holley suffered massive head injuries. Brown was treated for minor scrapes and bruises at the hospital and then released. The accident is under investigation by the Edwardsburg Police Department. Holley was born April 6, 1953, in South Bend Indiana. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Laura Holley; a brother, Winston Dale Holley, Elkhart, and two sisters Mrs Charles (Carolyn) Fisher, Elkhart; and Mrs. Will (Reba) Sanders. Rainsville Alabama. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Walley-Mills Zimmerman Funeral Home, Elkhart, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. E. Ray Jewell of the North Side Church of the Nazarene will be assisted by the Rev. Howard Van Harligen, with burial in Prairie Street Cemetery. Goshen News 10/18/1975 p5
