The Elkhart Truth, Saturday December 2, 1995 pg A5 VALLEY HEAD, ALABAMA--Laura N. Holley 77 of Valley Head, Ala. formerly of Elkhart, Indiana died Monday (November 27, 1995) in Valley Head. She was born November 27, 1917 in Waverly Tennessee. She married William J. Holley. He died in 1969. Surviving are two sons Winston Dale Holley of Elkhart and James White of Beech Bluff, Tennessee.; one daughter, Rheba Chaney of Valley Head, Ala.; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren. A son, William Lee Holley and a daughter, Carolyn, are deceased. The funeral was Wednesday in Valley Head, Alabama. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Holley worked for 35 years at Strauss Bakery, where she retired in 1991. It was then that she moved from Elkhart to Valley Head Alabama.
