Bear Lake, Oct. 17 - Funeral services for William Heidley, 81, a resident of this community the past 61 years, were held from the Methodist church Monday, Rev. Weidenhammer officiating, with interment in Fairview cemetery. Surviving are two children, Karl Heidley of this community and Mrs. Ed Daron of Ludington. Death was attributed to heart attack. The deceased pioneer was born in Germany, migrating to this country at the age of 3. He was a member of Bear Lake I.O.O.F., elected to the office of Noble Grand this term, which office he refused prior to installation because of his failing health. Odd Fellows had charge of the funeral services.
