Rev. W. W. Fridinger, formerly pastor of Salem United Brethren Church, Tenth and Spring streets, died suddenly at his home, at Jonestown, at 6:30 a.m. of heart disease. Mr Fridinger was located in Reading five years, and from Reading was sent to Allentown. His next charge was at Ephrata, and then at Jonestown. He was just appointed pastor of the charge at New Holland, where he preached on Sunday, and would have taken charge this week. Mr. Fridinger was twice married. Three sons, Willis, Paul and Zephania, and one daughter, Mrs. Frederick Eichert, live in this city. They are of the first marriage. Of the second marriage there are three children, one of whom is M. V., who was appointed at the recent conference as pastor of the United Brethren Church at Intercourse, Lancaster County. Burial will take place at Iona.
