August 24, 1899- WILLIAM FOX of Monmouth, he of great age and many marriages, has again embarked on the sea of matrimony. He was united in marriage yesterday to MRS. MARTHA STUTTING by Justice Ralston at his office in this city. This is Mr. Fox's fifth marriage and the bride's second. He is only 93 years of age and she is forty-five."

    MAQUOKETA IOWA EXCELSIOR December 10, 1907 Monmouth: Wm. Fox the old veteran of the Mexican and Civil Wars died at his home near Maquoketa Saturday afternoon. Mr. Fox is an old resident of Monmouth but after his marriage with this wife has resided most of the time near Maquoketa.
