!BIRTH-DEATH: In an e-mail from George Ewing to Dean Busby 6 Aug 2000. (GEOEWING@aol.com) BIOGRAPHICAL: From "Ewing in Early America," Part I, by Margaret Ewing Fife, p. 64. These is no record in Frederick Co., VA of the marriage of a William Ewing. He received land after his father's death, but sold it back to brother, John Ewing, for 200 pounds in 1788. His place of residenced was not given nor did a wife release a dower right.
