I am looking for the family line of Francis Cottam and Mary Musgrave whom came from Liverpool, England on the ship Jane and landed in Philadelphia on August 17, 1820. The William Cottam I found came over with this family:Vincent Cottam arrival date May 27, 1822 48 M London England Ship Thames
Catherine Cottam arrival date May 27, 1822 53 F London England Ship Thames
John Cottam arrival date May 27, 1822 18 M London England Ship Thames
William Cottam arrival date May 27, 1822 16 M London England Ship Thames-He was born around 1805
I have found Vincent Cottam in Farmingtom, Trumbull county, Ohio in 1850 along with a William Cottam wife Margaret in Huntsburgh, Geauga, Ohio. This William is also born around 1805 and in England. If this William is the same as yours then he could have came over much earlier then stated. That is all for now if you need more I shall be willing to give you more. Thank you.
