Sevices for Woodrow (W. W.) Smith, 75, will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday (13 Apr 1988) from the Main Street Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Marvin Killman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Smith, a retired carpenter employed by City Lumber Company for over 40 years, died Monday morning at his residence.

A native of Decatur county he was the son of the late George Luton Smith and Mary Long Smith. He had been a Jackson resident most of his life, he served in the US Army during World War II, and was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church.

He leaves his wife Tracie Jane Hill Smith, a daughter, Alice Jane Harris of Searcy, AR., four sons, Bruce Smith and Gene Smith both of Jackson, Donald G. Smith of Henderson and David Smith of Beech Bluff, a sister Bernice Allen of Jackson, two brothers, Earl Smith and Paul Smith both of Jackson, eleven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Casketbearers to serve are Glen Aday, Howard Deaton, Oliver Jones, John Davis, L. O. Nance and L. B. Newton.

The family will receive friends at the Main Street Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons
