  6. STB age 15 at 1841 census, but so is brother John, and Walter is listed first and is born in a different county than John. The census takers seem to be rounding ages, as they have both Thomas and his wife as 40!

    Search of birth records 1820-1830 on scotlandspeople.gov.uk yielded no Walter son of Thomas Davidson.
  7. There is a Rev. Walter Davidson dying 15 May 1874, listed in scottishdocuments.com as minister of Knox's Free church in Perth -- same person??
