BURIAL: Viola R. Owens

BURIAL: Funeral services for Viola R. Owens of Many, were held Tuesday, March 31, at 2 p.m., in the Middle Creek Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. Owen Lofton, and the Rev. Johnny Rhodes.

BURIAL: Burial was in the Middle Creek Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

BURIAL: Mrs. Owens died at Fraser Hospital North, at 3:45 a.m., on Monday, March 30, following an extended illness. She was 82.

BURIAL: Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Velma Self of Fisher, and Mrs. W. S. Gass of Florien; one son, George Curtis Owens of Deville; one sister, Belle Frantom of Shreveport; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

BURIAL: Pallbearers were Charles Frantom, James Frantom, Kenneth Coburn, James Ray Coburn, Malcolm Coburn, and Artis Coburn
