    Velma Mae Stewart, 75, Frankfort, died at 9:25 p.m. July 18, 2003, in St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital.

    She was born February 8, 1928, in Forest, to Paul Emerson and Edna Bernice Altic Laughner. She married Herman Wayne Stewart on February 8, 1945, and he died in 1952.

    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Sandra K.) Glover and Mrs. John (Susan L.) O'Brien, both of Frankfort; one brother, Daniel E. (Virginia) Laughner of Michigantown; her long-time companion, George Stewart of Frankfort; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

    One sister, Sarah Bartley, preceded her in death.

    Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Martin officiating.

    Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
