Based on Uriah's will, plus John Cottle's will, plus various court records (and William's estimated age) I figure the children thusly:
1. Charles Jedidiah Cottle - deceased 1780 so no part for him. Those eligible for 1/8th parts are the following: 2. Elizabeth Cottle McGuire - deceased prior to husband's 1825 will (and _not_ included in John's will). 3. (Charles) William Cottle - maybe alive in 1850 (in John's will). 4. Ruth Cottle Nutter - reportedly dead early but included in John Cottle's 1850 will. 5. Joseph Cottle - deceased 1852 (and in John's will). 6. John Cottle - died in 1850. (He who made the will.) 7. Hannah Cottle Foster - still alive in 1850 (in John's will). 8. Sarah Cottle Hamm - still alive in 1850 (in John's will). 9. Ann "Nancy" Cottle Pine - still alive in 1850 (in John's will).
