Hello:

I have been conducting family genealogy research for many years, since the early 1980s. I have run across a tantilizing possibility many years ago and hope someone can help me solidify the connection which I truly believe exists. It is well known that Mary Isham Randolph (b. c. 1718) eloped with someone whom the Randolph family did not approve of (she being a descendant of the Isham family through Henry Isham & Katherine Banks). This union, if it can be called that, did not last long. Mary's brothers are said to have killed the man she eloped with and their child although I personally believe they did neither. But, I have so far been unable to firmly establish the connection between Mary and Arthur although a good deal of circumstantial evidence would support this theory. So I need to know if there is any evidence which I have yet to uncover which might connect them more firmly. I would appreciate the help of anyone interested in this possibility.

Thanks,

JMBrowder
